While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I experienced behind its threshold was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .

The floorboards were filthy, and a foul smell of decaying beverages and uncleaned toilets permeated the entire pub. Emitting a scent of a mixture of excrement , decay and sickness . The bathroom was in even a more revolting state — backed up, with a shattered handle and walls covered in what I can only assume was feces.

After reading through multiple accounts and chatting with the community, it seems that the level of hygiene (or lack thereof) at Masterson’s is a long-standing issue . Many visitors have reported seeing bugs darting across the drink station and signs of rats in the adjoining rooms.
